Jackie was very very helpul and pleasant, staff like her are hard to find, room was lovely and well fitted out, bathroom was massive and bath huge, only minus point was room 8 very noisy as toilets of pub upstairs and you hear people walking in and out and also hear the noisy hand drier, apart from that we enjoyed our stay and will deffo go back
Noisy room

First appearances not encouraging but transformed when we saw the room and views. 11/10 for staff friendliness and value. Well worth a further visit. Recommended to nearby Waterfront, linked to Hotel, where we enjoyed very good meal at reasonable price.
The public car park is some distance away, difficult when carrying bags. Well worth the effort, however, to enjoy this quirky gem.

Fine views from rooms overlooking the Dreel burn and the sea, perfect for a relaxing cup of coffee. The separate entrance from the bar offers a unique touch.
Parking can be tricky, as there's only limited space outside the entrance. If you're not lucky enough to snag one of those spots, the nearby public car park is a bit of a walk. While breakfast delivery was ok, it had its hiccups on the first morning due to server issues, and choices were slightly limited. A tattie scone or hash brown option would have been nice. The noise from weekend entertainment might disturb some, but surprisingly, noise didn't penetrate into the rear rooms, nice for a decent night's sleep.

The decor and the rooms were great. the only fault was that there no comfey lounge to sit in, the bar and the dinning room were basic. Other wise vaule for money.

Great value across the board. Well cooked and presented food. Lovely room
A small ommission. The towels were not changed after the first nights stay. Probably an oversight, easily remedied.

This nice basic hotel had absolutely stunning views. We ate at a pretty good restaurant with good food. Besides, the location was perfect for our stay, within 10 minutes' walk of Billow Ness Beach. The outdoor bar was a delightful surprise. The place was well priced.
Where was reception?.

Staying here with my son's family was really fun! The spacious family room had a lovely sea view, and the kids loved the cozy garden area. We enjoyed breakfast with a wide variety of choices. Plus, the Sky TV in the pub area was a huge hit.
My kids wished for a bit more soundproofing between rooms. It got a bit noisy at night, especially from the pub.
